Panasonic 3D TVs
Panasonic has just won the first annual Wheatstone award from the International 3D Society. The award was given to Panasonic for their 3D TV and other 3D products, as well as for their efforts in promoting 3D to consumers.
It’s not really a surprise that Panasonic has won this award; they are certainly a leader in the TV world and have extended this lead to 3D TVs. They were one of the first manufacturers to offer 3D TVs to the public.
In fact, Panasonic won CNET’s Best of CES Award this year for their TC-PVT25 Series. This exciting series of 3D TVs, all of which feature solid 3D picture quality, is now available on the market for purchase at prices ranging from $3000 to $4300, depending on the model, which range from 54″ to 65″ in screen size. The price includes a pair of 3D glasses. The models use plasma technology for displaying 3D content, and all offer 1080 p resolution, 4 HDMI inputs, and 2 component-video inputs.
Gizmodo has given great reviews to the Panasonic TC-P50V20, stating that this model produces a strong and convincing 3D feel. By all accounts, it is one of the better 3D TV models on the market, and merits serious consideration by anyone interested in purchasing a 3D TV.
The award is a real coup for Panasonic and well deserved.
